This exceptional coffee, from the Bensa and Arbegona districts of Eastern Sidama, is a tribute to the legacy of Ethiopian coffee. Produced by smallholders and processed by Daye Bensa Coffee, this fully washed lot offers a floral and fruity experience, with delicate jasmine, peach, lime, and black tea notes, and subtle hints of blueberry.

Founded by Bensa locals in 1996, Daye Bensa Coffee leads Sidama’s coffee industry with 15 processing stations. In the Boreta village, small farmers grow coffee at 2,200 meters, alongside crops like sugar cane, spices, and enset. The region’s cool, high-altitude climate allows for slow, meticulous fermentation, enhancing flavor. Processing is precise and natural, from density sorting to extended drying.
